At the deepest of the Yeti cave is a Boss Lair, home to Bigfoot, who drops powerful new Frost Cores. Along with a frozen ledge, where the rare Wild Erminus run around silently..

Areas: World Planning
NEW
In total 7 new locations have been added to the world, carefully placed to keep the world structured and balanced. As this process took considerable time, this update focuses on introducing the locations first, with features such as stories, quests, npcs, and features in a later update.
Aeven Locations
Aeven receives 3 class hubs arranged in a triangle across the west, north, and east. To keep the Aeven balanced, extra space was created in the west and north while limiting expansion on the west. A tower has also been added on top of Anundo Mountain, accessible through a small cave, keeping Anundo contained as a small hidden village.
Hallodale Locations
Hallodale receives 3 new locations that strengthen its industrial and wealthy character. These are placed mostly west of Hallodale to balance the world with the station and town in the center. The dwarf village has been made only accessible by train, emphasizing distance and the need to transport goods back by railroad.
Areas: Aeven Expansion
NEW
Aeven will have three new locations spread across the contintent. In a quiet corner, the Den Hideout has been added, serving as a class hub for both rogues and archers. To the north, within a breathtaking waterfall landscape, a Magic Academy fits perfectly, allowing priests and mages to study and master their arts. The Stronghold Barracks is the most logical place for warriors and paladins to train and sharpen their combat skills.

Den HideOut ( Class hub )
An entire new map has been added between the Castle Garden map and Aeven West, where the Baru flock shepherd resides. This quiet and remote area tunred out to be the most perfect spot to serve as the hidden camp for rogues and archers, where they can train their skills and operate their stuff inside their secret hideout. Adding a new map also expands the space on the west side of Aeven, helping to counter-balance the current abundancy of space on the east side of Aeven. Access is only granted to players who choosed to be Rogue or Archer.
Magic Academy ( Class hub )
A magic academy turned out to be a logical solution for both Mages and Priests to study and train their magical abilities together. After review, the water-rich northern area of Aeven, with it's cascading waterfalls, was identified as the ideal magical location. To accommodate the academy, the northern map between Aeven Mine and Aeven Falls was heavily expanded, forming a small, magical enclave surrounded by flowing waterfalls, integrating the academy naturally into the world. Access to the Academy is only granted to players who choosed to be Mage or Priest.
Stronghold Barrack ( Class hub )
The Stronghold, with its military presence, was the most logical location to serve as the home base for both Warriors and Paladins. As mentioned, the east side of Aeven is already heavily developed, so upgrading and expanding the Stronghold with training grounds and barracks became a natural two-in-one solution, further enhancing the stronghold's purpose. The Barracks will become the place for Warriors and Paladins to train and practice their combat skills together. Access to the armory is granted only to players who choosed to be Warrior or Paladin class.
Anundo Tower
A new enclaved map has been added to the north of Anundo. This design expands the small, hidden Anundo enclave without compromising its secluded, encapsulated nature. Located north of Aeven, the area is naturally water-rich, with cascading waterfalls and streams that carve through the landscape, making it a fitting location for an ancient tower atop the mountain. A small bridge leading into a cave was added as the pathway to the top, where the new Anundo Tower has been placed. The Anundo Tower could become a multi-floor dungeon in a future update; for now, it is not accessible and has been added as part of the roadmap for future development.

Areas: Hallodale Expansion
NEW
Hallodale will receive three new location that fit perfectly with its wealthy industrial character. A large waste dump collects all industrial garbage from the city, creating a grim but fitting location with potential for its own stories. The famous Butterclub offers a glimpse into the luxurious and secretive world of Hallodale's elite. The Big Dig is a remote mining site where dwarves extract valuable resources that they transported back to Hallodale, a rugged location only reachable by railroad.

Butterclub
A new, wealthy, and intriguing club has been added to the lower part of Hallodale Station. Secured with cameras and bouncers, the Butterclub is highly exclusive, offering a unique setting for players to uncover new secrets and intrigues of Hallodale's elite. This location has the potential to become an important part of Hallodale's storyline, adding depth and background to the contintent. For now, like all 7 new future locations, only the club's map have been carefully designed and placed to fit inside Hallodale. In later development, new stories and quests should focus on gaining access through a proper, extended storyline. Who knows which familiar npcs might be inside?
Hallodale Dump
The industry and deforestation in Hallodale naturally generate a lot of waste.. Adding a Waste Dump adds a more gritty industrial edge to Hallodale's industrial identity, with future opportunities for new npcs and background stories to emerge. The most logical location is to the west, near Hallodale Train Station which is already littered with chemical barrels, making it a logical place where Hallodale would transport it's industrial waste. This new area introduces a new atmospheres for players to explore, with potential for future npcs, quests and storylines tied to Hallodale's industrial nature.
Big Dig ( Dwarf Mine )
New maps have been planned, designed and added to Hallodale serving as a Dwarf Mining operation. The industrial dwarf hub fits seamlessly into Hallodale, providing background into how the city imports most of its heavy metals. It also offers a promising location for players to mine valuable and rare minerals in the future. To enhance the significance of the railroad and transportation, access is limited to train transportation only. Tickets can be purchased at the Hallodale train office, providing passage to the Big Dig.

Location: Aeven North
Reward: 500 Exp

* keep reading for more details..
Advanced npc behaciour
Melchior, the magical priest scholar, practices his healing skills just outside the academy. To bring his small quest and personality more to life, he randomly heals nearby players.
What was made?
The npc state-machine has been revamped to support more complex behavior. Npcs, like Melchior, are now able to select and memorize random nearby players, face them, and cast a delayed (friendly) heal spell on the chosen player(s). Additionally, the system has been modified so that any (active) state can control the npc's mainloop to suspend or run, giving states greater control over the npc's behavior in the future.
In progress: Advanced Wall Rendering*
NEW
What has been made?
Both the EGF studio tools and render engines have been upgraded to support Advanced Wall Rendering, including double-rendering walls with different render properties per frame, allowing a single wall to render double if needed.
What can it do?
For example, it supports more complex designs, such as balcony walls that mix solid sections with transparent glass *see screenshot. This approach allows to render complex walls without adding extra wall layers in the map editor, maps, or rendering engine. While these special wall types occur only in rare cases, this approach allows to render them without increasing the overall complexity.

Ground work: Item Base Power - Foundation code
Base Power (core power)
The new item system, launched in Patch 445 has been upgraded. Item instancing now supports one more additional uniquely tracked value per item: base power. This new instanced item property allows any item to remain powerful and relevant.
In theory, this means even a beginner dagger could scale close to the level of an Ultima, if that is the intention of the game designer. Together, this creates options for a multiple layered progression systems and keeps all item flexible and any item could remain relevant long term. This technical possibilites could give Endless Online a unique breeze. * more details will follow once this system will be implemented in a future patch..
