About: Chat Channel System
The npc chat system allows characters to speak random lines, but it has been updated with the option to coordinate dialogues more smoothly by grouping npcs into a shared chat channel. This results in a system where lines are delivered one by one, with short pauses in between, giving the impression of an actual conversation. Instead of firing random lines at random moments on channel 0, npcs can now be assigned to channels 1 and above, creating back-and-forth exchanges through chat bubbles in the world.
Groups of npcs look like they comment to one another, merchants npc and customers npcs at the market can exchange remarks, and townsfolk might share gossip.. This small feature adds subtle atmosphere, making environments feel more dynamic and alive. The chat lines remain random, but by channeling npcs they become coordinated, creating more natural ambient exchanges that offer a little more personality and context while enhancing immersion.

A set of small, beginner-friendly talk and fetch tasks has been added to bring more life and activity to Aeven. These quick quests take place on the same or neighboring maps, offering new players simple ways to get started and earn early rewards. The new chat channels also introduce more personality to the npcs. For example an angry customer bounced by Shady, or Morty attracting a group of little fans. Together, these additions help Aeven feel more lively and connected.
